Welcome to the March 2025 edition of the PM World Journal (PMWJ), our 150th monthly edition. This month’s PMWJ is another diverse and interesting edition, with 36 new works by 42 different authors representing 20 different countries. The new additions this month bring our totals to 5,382 works by 2,090 different authors representing 90+ countries published in the PMWJ to date and now archived in the PM World Library.
One Letter to the Editor is included in this edition by Manuel Ancizu in Pamplona, Spain. Manuel has provided some very kind PMWJ Author Feedback to share with our readers. Thank you, Manuel.
One Interview is included this month, courtesy of PMWJ correspondent Yasmina Khelifi in Paris. She cornered Alistair Godbold, APM Vice President in the UK, with some excellent questions. Alistair provides enlightening and even motivational answers. Check out this interesting interview.
Ten Featured Papers are included this month, by authors in ten different countries. These good papers are a mix of academic and professional research, by professors, graduate students and very senior project management practitioners. The topics vary from directly to indirectly related to program and project management. Rather than mention all of the titles and authors, I can say that these are substantial works representing many hours of research and writing. So please review the titles and summaries and read one or two. Several are a little dry, several fascinating and a couple actually break new ground. The PMWJ Featured Papers category now seems to be providing both academic and professional researchers with a viable option for publishing their research results much faster. We believe the PMWJ can be a very useful resource for universities, some professors and graduate students.
Six good Series Articles are included by authors in five countries, all of whom are well known experts in the PM field. Dr. Deepa Bhide in India is back with another powerful article related to “Healthcare and Project Management” titled “Management of Medical Emergencies through Project Management Lens”. Dr. Stanislaw Gasik in Poland has authored the next in his series on “Let’s Talk About Public Projects”, this month’s article titled “Selecting a public project contractor”, a critical aspect of public program management. Oliver Lehmann in Germany has authored the next article in his very interesting series on “Project Business Management, this one titled “Resilience in Project Business, part 3: The Resilient Project Contractor”. Don’t miss these three important new works by thought leaders in their respective fields.
