APM Showcases Innovation, Inclusivity,

and Growth Across the Profession

The Association for Project Management (APM), the only chartered membership organisation for the project profession in the world, has delivered a series of initiatives that reflect its commitment to advancing knowledge, inclusivity and professional development.

One of the most significant developments this quarter has been APM’s new content hub, designed specifically for business leaders operating outside the traditional project management profession. The hub provides accessible insights, resources and thought leadership to support leaders navigating the growing demands of transformation and change. By broadening its reach, APM aims to foster stronger collaboration between project professionals and the wider business communities.

APM has also published two research reports that highlight critical themes shaping the project profession. Digital Transformation and the AI Imperative in Public and Private Sector Projects examines how emerging technologies are reshaping project delivery and organisational strategy, whilst Promoting Neurodiversity: Unveiling Barriers and Enablers in the Project Management Profession explores how organisations can create more inclusive environments to support neurodiverse talent. Both reports underline APM’s role in driving forward innovation and inclusivity across a variety of sectors.

Adam Boddison joined APM as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in September 2021 having formally held CEO and senior executive roles in multiple educational organisations. Beyond APM, Adam has a portfolio of consultancy and volunteering supporting organisations and initiatives that benefit society.

Adam is a visiting Professor at the Stranmills University College and the University of Leicester (School of Business). He has authored several books and is a qualified clinical hypnotherapist. In 2022, Adam was awarded the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (OBE) for services to children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities.

As CEO of APM, Adam is a leading figure in the UK’s project management professional and business communities, a popular keynote speaker at major events, and a prominent voice for the project profession with the UK government and general public.
