Which Chatbot Will Serve the Best Project Management?

COMMENTARY

Welcome to “AI4PM MasterChef”!

Ladies and gentlemen, fire up the stoves and tie your digital aprons: the challenge between Artificial Intelligence chefs for the best project management assistant is served! One year after the great boom of generative AIs, we’ve decided to test them in the role of a “Virtual Maître-Restaurateur” for project management. Indeed, our digital assistants have rolled up their (virtual) sleeves and refined their culinary – oops, project management – skills. Who has improved their recipe? And who will be eliminated from the kitchen? Let’s find out together!

But beware: our stage isn’t just an ordinary kitchen. Here, it’s not just about preparing delicious dishes but orchestrating complex symphonies of management, planning, and problem-solving, just as a Michelin-starred chef organizes every detail of their kitchen. Welcome to the realm of Project Management, seasoned with a sprinkle of Artificial Intelligence!

We are close to April 1st (April Fools’ Day) …

The Chefs in the Competition

Under the pressure of judges and clients hungry for efficiency, our contestants step up to the stoves, knives sharpened and pre-packaged responses at the ready:

  • ChatGPT (USA): The classic haute cuisine chef, methodical and precise. Its responses are like a perfectly risen soufflé, though sometimes it goes overboard with redundant decorations and overly long preambles.
  • Claude (USA): The refined sommelier of information, expert at delivering sophisticated and well-structured responses, enriched with traceable sources. A classy maître capable of serving every fact as if it were a vintage wine.
  • Gemini (USA): The bold experimenter, always ready to innovate with new spices and techniques. However, it occasionally overcooks or mixes up the courses, displaying culinary creativity that sometimes gets out of control.
  • Deepseek (China): The mysterious outsider, newly entered into the competition, with solid technique and a surprising ability to serve generous and well-presented portions. A true Chinese banquet, capable of astonishing with its informational completeness.

Who will succeed in serving the best “Menu for the Project Manager“? Let’s find out with our Tasting Benchmark!
