Introduction
The book “Advanced Research on Projects and Temporary Organizations” is a thoughtful collection of several papers, representing a Scandinavian approach to research in the project management field. The primary focus of this book is on advances and potential advances in research on projects and temporary organizations. The selection presented in this book illustrates the current width of research in which projects and temporary organizations serve to illustrate themes coming from organizational theory or inspire organizational theory and related scientific endeavors to enhance project management practice in the industry.
Overview of Book’s Structure
There are fourteen Chapters in the book. Each Chapter represents distinct research topics. Each chapter has a brief introduction and most of the chapters also have summary or conclusion at the end. Throughout the book, there are several diagrammatic representations of some of the concepts discussed.
