Tiendung (TJ) Le is Associate Professor of Project Management at RMIT University, Melbourne. He conducts research in project management with a focus on front-end planning, procurement, and Agile approaches. He is an award-winning educator who is known for pioneering the use of case discussion as a teaching method in project management education.
His academic work is complemented by extensive engagement and leadership in professional societies, particularly the Project Management Institute (PMI). He is a past President of the PMI Melbourne Chapter and led the chapter to win the Chapter of the Year Award by PMI in 2024. TJ is the founding Chair of the PMI Asia Pacific Agile Special Interest Group (now Regional Hub) and a member of the PMI Global Accreditation Center Board of Directors. He has a Ph.D. in Construction Engineering and Project Management from the University of Texas at Austin. He is based in Melbourne, Australia and can be reached at tiendung.le@rmit.edu.au.
