Professor of Accounting at King Saud University joins international advisory team for PM World Journal and Library
23 January 2026 – Dallas, Texas, USA and Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia – PM World has announced the appointment of Khalid Rasheed Al-Adeem, PhD as an honorary academic advisor for the PM World Journal (PMWJ) and PM World Library (PMWL). Khalid is Professor of Accounting at King Saud University in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
An esteemed professor at King Saud University, Khalid Al-Adeem holds a Ph.D. from Case Western Reserve University in the United States. His academic journey is marked by a deep commitment to excellence in accounting education and research. Recognized for developing innovative curricula and leading critical research projects, he has made significant contributions to accounting theory and practice. His academic journey, enriched by his role in supervising groundbreaking doctoral theses and holding key leadership positions on various academic committees, reflects a blend of scholarly depth and practical insight.
He has taught students at the two-year college, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels. Occasionally, he teaches various subjects across different programs. He has taught Intermediate Accounting to undergraduate students, Advanced Studies in Financial Accounting to master’s students, and Theory Development in Business to doctoral students. He has also served as the director of the PhD program, which has five tracks: Accounting, Financial, Management, and Management Information Systems. Additionally, he was head of the Committee for Graduate Studies in the Accounting Department. He served as secretary for the Council for Graduate Studies, which oversees three graduate programs: MBA, EMBA, and PhD, with five tracks.

When I first entered the PM field, I recognized basic management accounting as underlying project cost management processes, including earned value management.
