According to PMWJ editor David Pells, “Madiba was recommended by Marie Eliane Ndjib, a former correspondent who moved from Cameroon to the United States several years ago. He has been very involved in advancing project management professionalism in Cameroon and nearby countries and has enthusiastically embraced the missions of the PMWJ and library. I was impressed with his inquiry.”

Madiba stated, “I am very interested in the role of International Correspondent for Cameroun and if possibly for Central African region. Based in Cameroun, I regularly travel to all central African countries which have low geograhical access and poor coverage of project events as of now. I think this role will give me the opportunity to share field experience and project dynamics of my region with the world and, of course, humbly contribute to the progress of the Project Management industry here.”

Pells added, “Strategically located at the crossroads of West and Central Africa, Cameroon has a population of 27 million, widely diverse and growing economy, and future development plans that will require many projects and project managers. Nearby countries have similar histories and needs.  I look forward to learning more about the region and to reading Madiba’s reports about project management there.”
