Dr. Xiaoying Li is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Strategy in the Marilyn Davies College of Business at the University of Houston–Downtown. She holds a PhD in Business Management with a specialization in Project Management and an MBA in Global Business, and she is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). Her research focuses on business strategy, strategic project management, and organizational decision-making. Prior to joining academia, she held senior leadership roles with a Fortune 500 energy equipment and services company, where she led global operations and large, complex project portfolios. She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in strategy, project management, problem-solving, and decision-making.
