Founder of Project Managers Without Borders joins honorary advisory team for PM World Journal and Library
15 July 2025 – Dallas, TX, USA – PM World has announced the appointment of Deanna Landers as an honorary global advisor for the PM World Journal (PMWJ) and PM World Library (PMWL). Based in Florida, USA, Deanna Landers, PMI Fellow, is a former Chair of the Project Management Institute (PMI) Board of Directors and Founder of Project Managers Without Borders (PMWB).
Deanna currently serves on the board of directors of PMWB, which has the mission to make a positive difference in the world through collaborative and sustainable projects. PMWB is now a strategic part of PMI’s global social impact program. Deanna previously served on the board of directors of IEEE Smart Village, Metro Denver PM Education Foundation, PMI Mile Hi Chapter, and for 6 years on the international board of directors of the PMI, leading the board as Chair in 2013.
She was previously the Director of Program Management at Charter Communications, an American telecommunications and mass media company with services branded as Spectrum, now America’s largest cable provider. At Charter, she was responsible for improving the maturity and effectiveness of project, program and portfolio management for the organization. Prior to Charter, she was with IBM for 11 years, contributing to their award-winning Project Management Center of Excellence, as well as delivering a $350M portfolio of projects.
