Update from APM for PMWJ

REPORT

By Adam Boddison

Chief Executive Officer
Association for Project Management

United Kingdom

APM has unveiled a series of major updates that signal its continued commitment to advancing the project profession through strong leadership, innovative learning tools and expert-led publications.

APM’s Board recently elected a new Chair, Amy Morley, to succeed Milla Mazilu, who steps down as her term of office comes to end. Amy brings a wealth of experience and insight to the role, and her appointment marks a new chapter in APM’s governance and strategic direction. The organisation expresses its heartfelt thanks to Milla Mazilu for her leadership and dedication during her time as Chair and also her nine years as a Trustee.

In a major step forward in its professional development offering, APM has launched a brand-new learning platform designed to transform how project professionals access and engage with educational content. The new platform offers personalised learning pathways, curated resources and adaptive tools that align with individual career goals and development needs. This whole approach to professional development reflects APM’s ambition to make lifelong learning more accessible and relevant in an ever-evolving project landscape.

Further enriching the knowledge base for professionals, APM has released two significant new publications. The APM Body of Knowledge 8th edition represents a comprehensive update to one of the profession’s core resources, incorporating the latest thinking, trends and practices. This essential guide provides a robust framework for project delivery across various sectors and roles.
