Maumita Patwary joins PMWL research team in India

 

Graduate student at SDA Bocconi Asia Center in Mumbai joins PM World Library internship program

24 January 2024 – Dallas, TX, USA and Mumbai, India – PM World has announced the appointment of Ms Maumita Patwary as a project management research intern for the PM World Library. Maumita is currently pursuing her International Master in Business degree at SDA Bocconi Asia Center, Mumbai, India for the academic year 2023-2025.

Ms Patwary holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from Netaji Subhash Engineering College (Kolkata, India), where she studied from 2015-2019. From 2019 to 2021, Maumita worked as an Assistant Systems Engineer for Tata Consultancy Services, Bangalore. She was involved in multiple projects related to API development, maintenance in Java and SpringBoot. She also worked as a Software Engineer in Larson & Toubro Infotech, Bangalore where she was a part of requirement gathering, analysis, development and delivery of client specifications.

She already holds Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certifications.  Her major fields of study are general management and information technology (IT). Research interests: Agile Project Management, project management of public projects in India, people management, Innovation and Project Management, quality management. PM World Internship Focus: Business Improvement and Project management, Product Management, Strategic Planning and Management.

She has been highly recommended by Prof Marco Sampietro at SDA Bocconi School of Management in Milan, one of our esteemed honorary academic advisors.
