In an enlightening PMO Insights session hosted by PMO Global Alliance India Hub, esteemed speakers Dr. Gunjan R Malhotra, an Associate Professor at the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad, and Shalini Sankarshana, Managing Director and Country Manager at Planview, delved into the critical integration of Operations and Project Management. The event, aimed at enhancing business outcomes through strategic alignment, was held live on LinkedIn on 16th March from 4 PM to 5 PM IST.

Dr. Malhotra, with her extensive academic and practical experience in Operations Management, and Shalini Sankarshana, a seasoned leader known for her strategic insights in managing business operations, provided a comprehensive overview of the synergies between operations and project management. Their discussion highlighted the importance of this integration in achieving operational excellence and driving sustainable business growth.

Ms. Sankarshana covered about the Change, Evolution of Work, Moving from Output to the outcome-based approach and AI for Project Managers. She left an intriguing thought with all the audience on “What is the AI for Project managers in reality”.
The speakers shared real-world examples and best practices, offering valuable guidance to Project management, PMO professionals and business leaders alike.

On a voluntary basis, he has been working for the PMO Global Alliance India Hub since July 2021 and he was elevated as Director of Communications from February 2023. His responsibilities include communication, public relations, and collaborations.
