Welcome to the March 2024 PM World Journal

Welcome to the May 2024 edition of the PM World Journal (PMWJ), the 141st monthly edition of this practitioner-oriented publication. This month’s PMWJ is another diverse and interesting edition, with 27 new works by 29 different authors representing 12 different countries. The new additions this month bring our totals to 5,016 works by 1,960 different authors representing 90+ countries published in the PMWJ to date and archived in the PM World Library.

The Interview this month, courtesy of PMWJ correspondent Yasmina Khelifi in Paris, is with Graziano Trasarti, founding member and current President of the Italian Project Management Association ISIPM, based in Rome. Founded 18 years ago and with around 4,000 current members, ISIPM is one of the largest independent PM professional bodies in Europe. ISIPM has also established a strategic alliance with the PM World Journal and Library, so we are happy to share Graziano’s interview with our readers. To learn more about this impressive national PM association, check out this interesting interview.

Six very interesting Featured Papers are included this month, by authors in five countries.  “Elevating Visibility of Project Management Knowledge: AI may lead the way” is by Muhamed Abdomerovic. Dr. Mark Reeson in the UK has authored “Project management to Net Zero.” Quantum Project Management and the Concept of Space-time” is by Bob Prieto.  “Performance limiting factors for complex projects within the Royal Canadian Air Force” is by Sébastien Montreuil and Prof Christophe Bredillet in Quebec.  Alan Stretton in Australia has authored a significant new paper on “Managing Customer Projects vs. Internal Projects”. “Project Management of UN Activities: Guide to end-to-end Project Delivery” is by Prof Dr. M.F. Harake in France. The titles of these papers should attract your attention.  In addition, these papers are all by very experienced PM scholars and experts, so please take them seriously.

Five Series Articles are included by our regular series authors.  Dr. Deepa Bhide in India is back with another powerful article in her 2024 series on “Practical Insights and Diverse Perspectives on AI in Healthcare Project Management.” This month’s instalment is titled “Artificial Intelligence Enablement of Public Health: A Transformative Approach – Future of Healthcare and AI”. This month’s contribution is a combination of interviews with public health leaders and Dr. Bhide’s summaries.  Very good steps forward.
