Ten Years of PM World Journal

Congratulatory Messages from around the World

TRIBUTE

I met David first in 1995 at a PMI conference when he was leading efforts to bring together the key global PM associations, in a format called Global PM Forum.  David is a former PMI Board member and achieved the PMI Fellow award in 1999.

Met him several times afterwards, at PMI gatherings, Fellow dinners and other occasions. I like his calm and listening style ; he is a pleasant person to discuss with.

When David started the PM World Journal, I contributed a few articles and applied to a global advisory role, which I still hold.

David still strives to bring together different perspectives and the list of respectable authors he managed to recruit is tremendous. I am thankful to know him and gladly contribute from time to time to the journal. It is a really integrative, global and valuable resource for project managers.

David,

I would like to join all of the other readers in celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Project Management World journal.

I only discovered your journal less than five years ago, but, since then, I have come to appreciate all that you have done to create an invaluable publication, and to appreciate you as a knowledgeable and generous professional. Without your guidance and encouragement, I would never have produced the series of articles that you were kind enough to publish over a span of two and a half years. I certainly got a large amount of satisfaction from the experience, and I do hope that this was also the case for you and for your readers.

One feature that I really appreciate is that your Journal attracts contributions from a broad cross-section of international experts as well as offering a showcase for students and other practitioners. In this way, it provides all of us with valuable insights into a broad range of ideas across the entire field of project management.

I look forward every month to receiving the welcome email containing pointers to a new set of articles and ideas.

And, last, but not least, your personal contribution every month in the form of perceptive editorials is always the first thing I read in each edition.

Once again, Thank You!

Dear David,

I’ve been contributing to PM World Journal since August 2021 only and I wish I did it before.

You’ve given the opportunities worldwide to contributors and voices to speak up, discuss and exchange in a benevolent way. You’ve built an incredible diverse community of experts well before diversity and inclusion was the trend in corporates. I’m grateful to be part of PM World Journal community.

Behind the scenes, you work passionately to edit and publish every month articles, interviews, letters. Thank you for your passion and dedication to grow the project management profession.

Merci beaucoup!
