Always ahead of the Professional Associations in Spain

The summer season generally encourages greater relaxation in business and, consequently, in the activity related to project management in Spain. PMI Chapters and other associations, such as AEDIP (Spanish Association for Integrated Project Management), are creating synergies among them. The latter happened during this summer cycle of conferences for professionals of the Public Administration, where recognized professionals of the sector such as Javier Albisú and Eva Mañes met who spoke about the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security, and Migrations, among others.

The dissemination of the state of the art of project management in Spain is an area where Spanish associations must continue to collaborate more and more for expansion, awareness, and the need to manage projects better.

For their part, the Spanish Chapters of PMI continue to work on their work of disseminating the seventh edition of the PMBOK. The PMI Madrid Chapter has already given a session that explained the differences and discussed opportunities to continue improving. The volunteers are working from Spanish PMI Chapters. Although very quiet during this summer, they are regaining strength to resume their tasks in social projects and in the recharging of batteries of the new volunteers who are the flame of our associations.

This month we will have the opportunity to contact again with the new President of PMI Madrid, Jesús Vázquez, and conduct an interview to learn about the strategy of the Chapter for the year 2023. Jesús is waiting for you; we have all the confidence in your new ideas and initiatives.
