On 23rd June, 2023 PMOGA India Community Hub hosted a Panel Discussion as a part of PMO Insights on “Improving Healthcare using Strategic PMOs”.
The discussion was moderated by Ms. Asiya Sheikh, Health Informatics Specialist at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center along with our esteemed panelists Dr. Deepa Bhide, Director- Clinical Expert at IKS Health, Mickey Nakamura, Transformation Executive & CIO Advisor at Pivot Point Consulting, a Vaco Company and Michael O’Connor, Senior Research Program Director – Program Management at Medtronic.
The Panel Discussion commenced with an intriguing exploration of the transformation of Project Management (PM) and PMO roles in cooperation with the Healthcare Industry, all while probing into the entrance of AI and its collaborative potential across these three sectors.
The thought-provoking discourse revolved around the collaboration between PMO and Healthcare, the integration of Healthcare and AI, and the synergies between PMO and AI. A pivotal aspect of the discussion involved exploring the responsibilities and roles that PMOs can undertake to combat future natural disasters, considering the challenges the pandemic imposed on the healthcare workforce.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in public Administration, Master’s degree in Business Administration and an Executive Management Development Program in Project Management & Industry revolution 4.0 from Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode.
On a voluntary basis, he has been working for the PMO Global Alliance India Hub since July 2021 and he was elevated as Director of Communications from February 2023. His responsibilities include communication, public relations, and collaborations.
