PMI Madrid Spain Chapter continues offering virtual activities for their membership
The PMI Madrid Spain Chapter continues to be very active in the profession. They get several virtual activities organized periodically. One of them is what they call “coffee dialogues.” This month this session was about the PMBOK 7th edition changes and perspective.
Alejandro Perez and Alfonso Bucero interviewed for 30 minutes with Susana Moreno (PMI Madrid Spain Chapter President) about their opinions about the new PMBOK 7th edition. The new generation’s perspective and the old one shared and discussed their views about that exciting subject.
The subject discussed was why PMI launched a new PMBOK edition, and the interviewees explained their point of view based on their actual experiences as project managers. Both interviewees supported the new edition and its changes based on the paradigm shift in a VUCA environment. Both people think that those changes are positive and remarked that the philosophy of PMI is not forgotten what practitioners and volunteers did in the past but opening the PMBOK umbrella by using principles and domains. Our profession continues moving forward.
